The evil within the Shadow Deep delights in using the bodies of the dead to strike terror into the living.  Vile necromancers, strange alchemy and even certain insect venoms are used to turn people into mindless zombies.  If Critters seem generally resistant to these procedures, humans certainly are not.  Every human volunteer for the Shadow Deep must thus be counted as two enemies, unless the bodies are burned to ash.
